A Swedish car and boat design company called Vizualtech has left us all stunned at the WCF office with these stunning graphical images of their work. According to them, the company does all their work in 3D, thus giving their clients the opportunity to make absolutely accurate changes or improvements on computer before the physical work even begins. In fact, a number of racing teams with well-funded budgets already use these methods when developing their machines.

Inspired by Toyota's tight grip on the American NASCAR race series, Vizualtech wanted to draft an American muscle car that would challenge the endurance and GT race series of Europe. With all due respect to the dominating Corvette C6.R, their candidate of choice was the new Dodge Challenger. Decked out in FIA GT race specification and numerous liveries, the newly interpreted Dodge Challenger is a mean looking machine. Unfortunately it's only a virtual rendering, but the detailing, lines, livery, and shadows look amazingly real.

This thing is about as aerodynamic as a brick, add ontop of that it's already pathetic fuel consumption in standard version and you have yourself a massive LM Failure.

"Aerodynamics is for those who cannot manufacture good engines"- Enzo Ferrari, But I don't know if we will ever see this car racing, considering the problems that Chrysler is having right now, Still the car looks great.

if enzo ferrari really ever said that (i'm guessing he did cuz ur quoting him)... that is quite possibly the dumbest thing EVER. look at what ferrari has become now.... aerodynamics is literally their middle name... look at the enzo, formula 1 especially... come on now... that is the definitely the most hypocritcal quote ever.... maybe in that time that worked out but in today's racing... u need both.

I see that the words are a bit changed, but the it means the same thing, End yeah "in that time that worked out but in today's racing... u need both" and a low weight body :p

he did say that, but he didn't deny that aerodynamics do a lot to the performance of a car.

Even the most stupid guy can stick a supercharged V8 engine to a brick on four wheels and win races. That's what the United States has been doing for ages. Lightness and aerodynamic efficientcy requires brains, which the Amricans so far have been lacking.

What a beautiful 3d rendering. If such a body kit were to exist in the real world, I would definitely buy the car and the kit and start racing on the circuit again... long have I missed racing.

Well as the car probably will not last long in production, seeing the competition like the Camaro and a few other cars, this is probably the least beautiful car of the lot and thank good ness this will never hit the racing industry. But being a designer myself, these designs are interesting and worth taking you hat off for taking the time to design them.

I don't think we will see this, but as a Challenger fan i would love to see this and for the car to expand its horizons to new venues and races. As for Radmeister and his comment about fuel consumption...Learn somethings.

Remember the Oreca Viper ? Had an 8L V10 and won FIA GT countless times and Le Mans a couple of times as well. You're point about horrible fuel economy is essentially full of hot air.

Xanavi23 yeah we will see how many times viper and the C6.R will be winning once Audi hits the track with their V12 TDI R8, just like in LM kiss their american ass goodbye.

Hey, I'm no American car fan, but don't bash the C6.R. It's proven itself as a worthy competitor.

amazingjerry, yeah don't forget audi in the late 90s to mid 2000s. They won absolutelly everything with the A4, it was a 10,000,000$ car, that project cost them as much as a F1 car. Then they got banned because they were winning too much. Same thing with the C6.R, that car is worth more than any other car on the circuit. Money always wins, if you can afford the best engineers and the best materials you will win, just like ferrari in F1, or Renault back in the day.
