"which show their joint commitment" to demolishing the Mercedes Benz image for quality design.

The nose.. Oh dear.. What were they thinking? Why 90% of the eco cars have to be so damn ugly?

To my eyes design degradation is becoming a plague across the German auto industry. Flamey edged creases and pointy edged snakey things crawling along the sides of a vehicle are just strange cliches. BMW's sales went up because of the engineering and amenities put into these cars during a good economy and slump in the quality of their competition. This happened despite Bangle, not because of him. Please stop copying his nasty work. This is a rant that a lot of people agree with.

Apart from that this is so danm ugly, there's no name for it and is so no Mercedes. And those headlights remind me so much of that Mazda concept for a leman car, Not talking about the shape, I refering to the interior design of the headlight.

Bungle "surface entertainment" at its most tasteless extreme: flair for the sake of flair, overdone, without restraint or "style" - in short, vulgar . . . . .

Ford is going post-kinetic, Can the Germans please go post-BUNGLE

well, it looks merc following bmw bangle's design. you can see the front end area and whole flame surface design definitely all bmw influence.

wow, why is merc going public with a half backed concept, no real wheels etc, is that a sign of cost cutting already? looks like " hey intern can you dust that greenish concept that we did in 2003 and have those rims you designed printed out in a 19in scale and put those front and rear light clusters from the other intern on there while you r at it.."
cool thanks that should do it for my fellow yanks in 09...
