Superb. Nice software too. They could use it on their website instead of that crappy car configurator still in use.

This looks awesome, beats the CLS, the PaiNamera and the Estoque.

One could probably indict Aston far more harshly than Audi for making every model look identical...the old "same sausage, different lengths" criticism. But oh, what a delicious looking sausage.

All hot russian girls also look pretty much the same, but we still love them, don't we?
I agree that AM could use a little more imagination... but boy, they've got talent. This thing is sex on wheels.
Besides, let's wait for their new strategies... if they too go down the downsizing lane, than there won't be that many different cars with similar faces, but just one or two with different engines.

why change something that looks beautiful? thats why the dbs also looks unchanged, because it looks great
and did any body notice how it was compared to the s class and not the cls?? read the article...hmmm
"The Rapide is expected to make its official debut at the 2009 Geneva show as a 2010 model...just in time to greet the Porsche Panamera and redesigned Mercedes S-Class."

I'm ashamed but this beats the new Panamera a thousand times (I'm confessing this although I am German!).
It adopts the elegant design that always makes me slobber when seeing a DB9 on the road. However, this might be the only evidence for criticism: There are no surprises concerning the exterior that would sweep me off my feet...

certainly any day more disguised 4 door coupe than the Panamera or the Maserati. Looks wise the best so far, Audi A7 might be good too.

Ok, so it has 4 doors and 4 seats similar to the panamera, CLS, A7 and what not. But still, this thing is in a class of its own. Undeniably gorgeous.

rubbish....panamera ftw. it seems aston martin's styling team has gone on strike again

I was astonished that anyone could prefer the aesthetics of the Panamera to the Aston, but then I noticed your username and it began to make sense.
Love is truly blind!

The front looks like a DB9 and the rear looks like a V8 Vantage...I do like it though.

What a lovely specimen! Come to papa now, yes, for a golden shower christening...

How could anyone think that the Panamera is better looking than this?
Is the Rapide an amazing looking car? Not really. It's hard to pull this sort of platform off. Mercedes was the first, now everyone's following. The Rapide looks pretty nice. But the Panamera? One of the ugliest cars ever created. It will be forever known as that, too.

Come on, the Panamera isn't that bad, but the Rapide does look way better than the Porsche. So much better.

to be honest you must agree that the lamborghini estoque looks better out of the three

all AM cars are beautiful even if they all look the same but you'll not get bored of seeing them.
December 13, 2008 10:22 am
