The problem is this: if the Yank automakers would make more great designs, beyond the Camaro, Challenger, and the beautiful Corvette, I am sure their financial woes would be a thing of the past. Ford need only bring their European models to the states!! Better yet, if they do not put those big ugly three bars on the front end of the car, they would do that much better by staying true to their kinetic design. This bail-out is such a bloody bollux. The problem lies with their upper management of 60 yr old shareholders who do not like new and spiffy designs and continuously choose to go with horrid and disgusting designs for most of the Yank auto models.

I agree with you. It is like the older airline comapanies(American, Delta, United, Continental) which always needs a hand vs Southwest Airlines that is lean and mean. The Northern Domestic car makers do not really have a product line like the Southern Domestic car makers
