so what you're saying is it's just as fast and just as expensive as an S3? it's a cool car but i think it's just signed it's own death warrant

that power will never get fully set down on the tarmac. pity, that yoke in 4wd would be a real winner. still should be a good car though. but save your pennies and buy an st, really its not worth the difference in price

too bad the Fords we have in north america are kinda crappy. Never see nice stuff like this over here. this would be a great car to drive during winter months in vancouver up and down the mountains

The next generation Focus will be a global car, so you guys in the US will get the same Focus as the rest of the world.

300HP and 0-62 in in 5.9?
Back in '04 I used to have a Dodge SRT-4(Neon) that did it in 5.3 seconds(C&D) with 230hp.
BTW, this not being AWD is just retarded.
I used to have an 06 Mitsu Evo IX MR and this would be a really nice competitor for the current evolution. But not with FWD.

Focus RS 0-62mph is 5.9 sec, 0-60mph would probably be in the 5.7 sec area or less, manufacturer's figures are sometimes conservative.
In Car and Druver's test the Neon SRT-4's 0-60mph acceleration (not 62mph) is 5.6 sec, according to Sport Compact Car 0-60mph is 5.8 sec.
