"Ferrari Sales Hit Hard by Global Credit Crisis"
or could it be due to that Subaru WRX bonnet scoop on the California?
economic crisis OR frankly mind numbing car design...

That bonnet on Subaru is not Subaru's too. Frankly it is a design problem in general.

Dude can you even read? The article states clearly the California is the only one spared in the line up.

...However I agree on the uninspiring design crisis affecting all recent Ferrari's, and Pininfarina in general. Not to mention Giugiaro, but that's another sotry...

Global crisis is just an excuse let say for 50% of car sales decline, rest is a car manufacturers failure and quit visible incompetence in the stage where decisions on production line developments has been made.

Didn't they kinda make this prediction after GM's circumstances? And is the F430 made to compete AGAINST the California?

Anyone who didn't think the big boys would take a hit is having a laugh.

F430 competes on the race track. California will compete on the boulevard with Mercedes SL, Aston DB9, and valet parking at any high-end restaurant and club.

How can Ferrari sold this much California's?
It's far too ugly when you compare it to the DB9

I agree, the styling isn't a patch on Callum/Fisker's work, but it says Ferrari on it and by virtue of that every plastic wife of an Italian concrete magnate will want one.

How can you compare the DB9 with Ferrari???? FERRARI!!!!THE ORIGINAL!!! THE BEST NAME IN THE BUSSINESS!!
