Following last month's spy shots of a new Noble M600 doing performance testing at Firebird Raceway in Arizona, US, the guys at RacersWeb.com are now in possession of fresh spy pictures of the car. A Porsche Carrera GT was also seen to be lurking around, which points to it being one of the benchmark cars the M600 is being modeled upon.

Last time the guys had been snapping away from as far as the track's grandstands, but this round managed to get up close and tight with the M600. A new more plush and friendly interior is one of the highlights, after past Nobles were criticised for being too hard on their passengers, especially in everyday driving. So Noble answers those comments with a generous helping of Alcantara all over, better, friendlier switchgear and other softer feel amenities.

The M600 is powered by a Volvo-sourced twin turbo V8, spewing out a hectic 600+ hp/ 447kW+ engine. Arrival time is pointed towards early 2009.

Haha, Nice number plate. I missed the Nobles. They were one of my fave trackday car brands, next to Lotus. Will this car ever be released?

Please WCF, nobody would have been bothered if this was posted at 5:45 rather than 5:40, just proofread. This is high school stuff!

Who really cares? I think you understood what they meant, so does it really matter that much? You can go read your car related news somewhere else if you don't like them here.

Going missing from the market I thought was always a mistake. The market has moved on a lot since Noble was last around. I wish them well though.

Looks the same, but you know what it didn't really need any major changes it's still a hot car. If i am not mistaken thats the 4.2L V8 made by Yamaha for ford/volvo. Very decent engine, nice and light. This car will eat the new lotus alive around the track, and the GT-R, i expect this to be a beast on the ring.

That looks SO modern!! (If it was 1998)... It's ironic that the Porsche Carrera GT is seen in a picture there, because the side mirrors were copied from it. But it should perform well

Kepe:

It's not that I dislike them here, or I'd not post or look, but I am disheartened by the low standards that have seeped into the articles of late. If you'd look at the piece on the Ferrari 16M you'd what I mean. It isn't as though I'm pouncing on the odd typo here, there has been a dearth of editorial quality, of simple things like fact checking and proof reading on WCF of late. As someone who's enjoyed watching WCF move from relative obscurity into the main stream of online car news, I can't help but be disappointed by such needless and silly mistakes.

Perhaps I have higher expectations than you Kepe, but I find this sort of lack of professionalism to be totally unacceptable and expect more from the crew at WCF.

Coarse stitches in leather is a XXI century upmarket interior finish indeed. And that exterior is "very matured" too like any collectivized dream is. In this case it would be a common sports car dream but Ferrari already exists. So R8 is far better just because that car is so genuinely stupid.
