All New Mazda3 Hatchback Driving Footage

While it may not be the best exhibition of "zoom zoom", the video clip you see does bring to life Mazda's most important model, the recently launched Mazda3 hatchback. Scenes of traffic circles and the countryside dominate. Anyway, this is a family car; a more enthusiastic drive can be expected when the MPS version zooms in.

Mazda3 comes in several engines that include 109hp (80kW) 1.6-litre, 2.2-litre turbo diesel with 150hp (110kW) and 360Nm and a high power version of same engine good for 185hp (136kW) and 400Nm. It sports wheels sized from 15 to 17 inches, things like ABS, EBD and TCS for safety. Mazda also says vast improvements have been made to the handling of a car which already had a reputation for great handling.

Nice interior features will include 10-speaker Bose sound system as an option, Bluetooth, sports seats and a multi-information display system.

That smiling front end is a bit too much but the rest looks good. As long as Mazda kept the fun factor from the previous model, its should be a success.

Put your finger on the Mazda sign and you will see a Peugeot 207. Or 308.
