Just yesterday we reported on a covertly acquired image of the all new 2010 BMW Z4 taken on a movie set and not a dealership as originally reported. And now, what appears to be a photo of the Z4 brochure has spilled its way onto the web as well, this time showing a rear end view and folding hard top roof.
Word on the cyber street is that the new Z4 makes its media debut on December 15 with a possible public debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
Despite the somehwat distorted view of the image, the overall rear end design looks promising. Let us know what you think in your comments below, compared to yesterday's front side image.

I hope it isn't too porky.
Since the introduction of the flame surfacing and design language by Chris Bangle, BMW has bought some much needed new customers in to their mix and bought some excitement that gets people talking about their cars.
Can't wait to see it in the metal.
Today's BMWs are pieces of crap, ever since that Bangle fool came to BMW. The 1 series I will hand to him. This Z4 looks nice too. But a lot of the crap, like the current 3 series (including the new M3) and 5 series are horrid to say the least. That bangle butt on the 5 and 7 series is worthless and a very dumb idea. The 3 series are not only much longer and heavier and hideous, they look boring! Same with the 5 and 7 series. The exterior looks absolutely boring. The interior is a close second.
Go check the facts first broer before pulling the "freedom of speech" card.
BMWs of the yesteryears were far more impressive than today's pile of junk designed by a worthless yank from Wasteconsin.
And the new e90 M3 is faster than the e46??? That is funny, because last time I checked, the Cadillac and Corvette demolished that car without a sweat. YANK CARS!!! The e46 CSL was a bloody good car and definitely designed for the driver in mind. I have no idea how a much lighter car as the e46 CSL can be trounced by a pregnant guppy of a car like the e90. So I will pass that word on as conjecture on your behalf, mate.
I lease a bloody '07 BMW 328i just to see what justification I can find for the car to call it a Bimmer. It is much heavier than the yesteryear 3 series, it is much longer, definitely slower, and worse yet, I HAVE TO DISABLE that horrid Dynamic Traction Control on the worthless junk in order to drive through the rain and get home safely!
I am not trashing this Z4 as it is definitely a step in the right direction. To de-Bangle any of BMW's current lineup would be the best move BMW could ever do. It will definitely make me a BMW fan again. Thankfully my lease is up this July 31st. I cannot wait to dump this junk in their lot and possibly pick up (lease) a Cayman RS. At least Porsche is a car I can count on that delivers the fun and excitement that the Germans are known to produce. However, if this Z4 comes out by the time my lease is up, I will definitely pick this one up.
nurchus, did you get run over as a child by a BMW driver or something? So much hatred for a car manufacturer can't be healthy.
I particularly like your arguement, "And the new e90 M3 is faster than the e46??? That is funny, because last time I checked, the Cadillac and Corvette demolished that car without a sweat. YANK CARS!!!" I dont mean to state the obvious but you completely avoided the question by answering one nobody asked. Yes the E90 M3 is faster than the E46, is what you should've said.
Quick question for you though, how can you compare a Corvette to a 4 seater M3? Do you actually believe what you type? If you are talking about Bangle, then why exactly are you mentioning the cars' performance? He has nothing to do with that.
Read a few motoring journalists' views on recent M cars against their actual competition (not Corvettes) and you will be plesantly surprised.
I like the X5 and X6 exterior, though. The 6 series bored me but i used to like it.
[Hope you understand my bad english, i did't know how to express some terms.]
