More Scirocco tuning but we just have to welcome it, don't we?

This time it's Leingarten, Germany-based tuner JE Design.
First, what's coming under the hood, which is what we really want to know from German tuners. The performance kit (for 1,249 €) takes the 2.0 liter TFSI's 200 hp and boosts it to 244. Torque goes from 280 to 350 Nm.

The resulting performance numbers seem worth the modest 1,250 euro price tag. 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and a top speed of 242 km/h.

And, of course, proper tuning requires a new and improved set of wheels. JE Design can provide you with 8x19" rims with 235/35 R19 tires in "shadow silver" for 2,810 €. There is also the choice of the "matt black / silver rim bead" for 2,930 €, or the "white pearl / polished front" for the same price.

JE Design also offers lowering springs for 219 € which bring the Scirocco down about 3 cm.

The body kit packages includes side skirts, air intakes and front and rear spoilers with a series of variations all for under 1,600 euro.

A stainless-steel muffler and double-oval-piped, mid-positioned exhaust is also available for 899 euros.

We always appreciate tuners who provide prices that give consumers a realistic view of what they'll be offered and also know if what is on offer is realistic for them.

JE DESIGN offers sport programme for new VW Scirocco

JE DESIGN offers a tuning programme only shortly after the premiere of the new VW Scirocco
Body- and lowering kit
Complete wheel set "Multispoke" in 19 inch size
+ 44 hp for the 2,0 litre TFSI

The JE DESIGN engineers once again confirm that they are the fastest of their kind. The VW tuning experts from Leingarten near Heilbronn can already deliver an entire sport programme for the new VW Scirocco which has only been introduced a few weeks ago. This programme can be ordered from free accessory dealers.

Whenever somebody is looking for an individual, sportive appearance, he is literally unable to avoid ordering a suitable body kit from JE DESIGN who deliver the suitable components in OEM quality. That means the material consists of high-quality ABS and all parts are custom-fit as they are milled with CNC. The kit for 919 € includes a front spoiler which already renders dynamism even when the car is not moving and is delivered with a centre spoiler sword in carbon look. The profile is also enhanced by side skirts with air inlets and a rear spoiler extension which perfectly matches the other components and is also available in carbon-look. If desired, makeover kits for crash-tested gull-wing doors can be obtained for 1.549 €
The end muffler which is made of stainless steel and comes with 2 centrally positioned oval end pipes (899€) renders an earthy sound and a stunning appearance. It is delivered with an EU operating license. Also available is a half system with 70 mm pipe diameter and increased by 11 hp.

Lowering springs by JE DESIGN which have been especially developed for the VW Scriocco (219 €) lower the car´s centre of gravity by 30 mm and are combined with serial shock absorbers. Of course, changing the serial wheels is an absolute must. Also here, the sport programme by JE DESIGN offers the elegant wheel design "multispoke" as wheel sets.
JE DESIGN offers wheels measuring 8x19 inches with 235/35 R19 tyres in "shadow silver" (2,810 €), "matt black / silver rim bead" ( 2,930 €) or in "white pearl / polished front" (for also 2,930 €).

Also under the bonnet, JE DESIGN boosts the power of the VW - the performance kit (1,249 €) increases the strength of the VW Scirocco 2.0 TFSI to 180 KW / 244 hp at 6,000 rpm. Thereby, also the torque rises from 280 to 350 Nm (at 3,350 rpm). And a VW Scirocco tuned by JE DESIGN accelerates from 0 to 100 in only 6.6 seconds and is therefore 0.6 seconds faster than its serial counterpart. The maximum speed rises by 7km/h to 242 km/h.

The price for the performance kit includes a one-year warranty and fitting costs.
