my thoughts exactly - more like a competitor for the nissan GT-R, and maybe the 911 turbo. but a ferrari is pushing it too far, and comparing it to a lambo is ridiculous - they may as well compare it to a 4x4

Are you two talking looks or performance? Because that lambo and F430 would get owned in a straight line or on a track by that new V-10 powered NSX you see there. The GT-R & 911t already has the Lambo's number anyway. Btw, a car doesn't have to be exotic, or ridiculously priced, or have huge displacement, or built in Italy to be considered fast. I bet you anything, Honda's new ivtec NSX V-10 will out perform most V-12's out there, let alone other V-10's in it's class. Just like Ferrari, this is street legal Formula technology being used at it's finest!

Hell of a post, RobERob. Well said, unless the F430 replacement is 2wice as fast as the current one. It won't be too much faster than the NSX. Remember guys, while the GT-R got the 90's attention for Japan, the cream of the crop was always the NSX. and im a Nissan man !

these things have the performance to match the italian supercars, for sure. but a lamborghini is NOT about track times - a lambo is something a bit stupid, a bit ridiculous, too big and impractical to be an easy drive, too loud, too brightly coloured to keep clean easily. it's about the experience, and that's what the japanese cars are missing - that's what costs the extra 100k, the juvenile silliness of the italian supercars. if you want a real race car, go with porsche or the japanese. but they're not competitors to the italians.
