I guess this one is tied for the number one spot in "ugliest porsche ever" with Cayenne.

you don't have to guess ........... this piece of living nightmare is sitting on a Cayenne chassis and is equipped with its engine .

make that an ugly station wagon that the Cayenne truly is.

i think i've picked the problem with the rear end - front and back both need bigger rims because it's a large car, but because of the unbalanced nature of the styling - namely, the back being a lot larger/heavier than the front - it needs the rims at the back to be one size larger than the ones at the front so it looks like it's leaning forward slightly. 19" on the back and 18" on the front, or 20/18 if you really wanted to go to town, and some big tyres, and i reckon it'd look fine.

CAR Magazine published a proposed computer-generated visual simulation of what they thought the 4-door Porsche should look like , coated in silver paint finish . the design looked quite athletic and elegant at the same time and sported a very finely - proportioned rear slope without appearing " grotesquely-pregnant " like this production example .
this issue appeared sometime four years ago with which I think was a very good depiction of how to apply the right look and physical proportions for this car . Zuffenhausen ought to have consulted CAR Magazine earlier on instead of having finally arrived at this disastrous result .

the only complaint i ever had was the rear end - like the rear wheel backwards - but, if this is official, it's turned out a lot better than i thought. still looks a bit ungainly, but i guess i could get used to it. looks kinda cool =)

It may be fake, but its real close to the spy shots. Definitely a UGLY car.

The heavy rear makes the wheels look like castors on a sofa in much the same way as BMW have small standard wheels.
Looks more like a Tourer. Awkward looking and I dont like it. There is no competition when compared to a Rapide or Estoque. It will probably be a great driver's car.

small wonder .. the " teaser ad " tried hard not to reveal the rear section because this is how it would appear .

It does look slightly better than in earlier images, but its stil ugly as what. Calling it a coupe is just lie. If Porsche would just confess that it came out as a estate by mistake cause the designer worked on it drunk late at night, then i just might forgive Porsche and forget that the panamera even exists. But if Porsche presents it proudly thinkin it look good im just gonna start hating porsche.

everyone said the same thing about the Cayenne, but the sales numbers speak for themselves... Hate all you want...Porsche will laugh all the way to the bank!

OH man! This porsche looks ugly specialy the rear! The front head lamps borrowed from the other ugly porsche "Cayenne", i don't see any new lines here in this car exept the rear which looks like Korean car.
Still far away from Aston and Merc
Prefer the beautiful CLS63 AMG over this ugly porsche.

Hey Batty boy.. hey batty boy!! this car looks more funny than ugly.. a bit cartoony. hope the official release is a bit better.

This already looks dated. This will sell cuz people just want the Porsche name. Sad cuz it isn't attractive
