The Porsche Cayenne remains one of the most sought-after tuner subjects and LUMMA Design has joined the fray with the facelifted GTS based CLR 550 R.

The SUV has a body kit that is 5cm wider on each side with 315/25-23 Michelins front and rear. Add the sport lowering suspension kit and the CLR 550 R sits 40mm lower making its wheels look even bigger. The look is heightened by a front spoiler bumper with a double daylight/fog lamp pair, side skirts, fender extensions, a rear bumper, tailgate apron, and a bonnet in Carbon/Kevlar which flows into those "evil eye" eyelids.

The ECU has received some reprogramming to jam out more power from the GTS V8, and something called LUMMA GPM added. GPM or gas pedal power module, gives a quick response on the gas pedal. From the rear an exhaust system with flap technology and stainless steel construction provides positive feedback.

A feeling of comfortable motorsports resonates inside where carbon fiber and leather/ alcantara dominate in addition to aluminium foot pedals. There's a bit of ICE as well courtesy of a multimedia system with 7.5-inch, headrest-mounted screens.

Individuals which are not satisfied with the standard outfit, now can count on the help of the Winterlinger based Tuner LUMMA Design. With the new designed LUMMA CLR 550 R you can see from distance, here comes a sport
SUV, a cut above the rest.

Wide bodykit LUMMA CLR 550 R

The spectacular body kit is broadening the Sports SUV 5cm per side by fender extensions, the front bumper with it's special designed, new turn signal unit, is adding the CLR 550 R a sportive look, the individual rear bumper, the sport look front hood with air ducts and the sportive side skirts are rounding up the whole package. Wheels in 23" and lowering sport suspension

The matching, new developed and designed wheels in dimension 11x23", LUMMA Racing 3, with Michelin 315/25-23 front and rear, are making out of the CLR 550 R, an individual unicum, state of the art.

In combination with the LUMMA lowering sport suspension, lowering the car approx. 40mm, for cars with and without air ride system, the wheels look even bigger than they are. Positive secondary effect: lower point of gravity and a better handling of the car.

Power increase and engine optic package

The Porsche GTS V8 is for sure a powerful engine, "but can even more power be a sin?" By reprogramming the electronics in the ECU, LUMMA Design is increasing the power. Another brand new option is the LUMMA GPM (gas pedal power module) for a much
better respond of the gas pedal and more dynamic acceleration, a must have for every sport ambitious driver. Easy to install, plug and play, ready to go on the course. If you decide to tune the engine or not, the LUMMA engine optic package, will upgrade the
engine compartment to perfection. The eye catcher contains a red coated engine cover with Carbon inlets.

When it comes to sound LUMMA Design made no compromises, a sport exhaust system, with flap technology made out of high quality stainless steel is mounted, which produces a deep and sonorous racing sound. Tail tips, custom made, are upgrading the visual appearance of the CLR 550 R.

Interior, individual upgrade for the passenger compartment

A real highlight is the individual designed passenger compartment. In cooperation with the Interior Designer LMT Benrath, LUMMA Design created pure luxury for the passengers.

For the passenger compartment of the CLR 550 R, LUMMA offers a huge lineup of accessories. All components and assemblies like dashboard, door panels as well as the individual designed and made single seats in the rear passengers compartment, are refind, covered with the finest Carbon leather/Alcantara combination, highlights are set by an ornamental seam in different colour, a superlative masterpiece of quality, design and style, state of the art.Tone in tone, handcrafted in the same material and quality, the steering wheel, ergonomic moulded. Front looks like a Peugeot. Rear is plain and boring. Ugly and pointless car.

This was an in-house LUMMA competition.

Only one rule: Find the ugliest SUV and make it uglier.

They were so inundated with all of two submissions that they just had to release both to the public.
