The eco drive system already exists in some Toyota models, even non hybrids. That concept is really not that new. The current prius already has its own econ switch - it is called the EV mode.

The Eco Assist System of the Honda is similar to Toyota's Eco Drive System which already exists in some Toyota models even non-hybrids since 2006. It's really not that new. Even their econ switch, the current Prius alredy has that feature the EV mode. The design looks nice, but probably trying to ride on the Prius success by doing a similar concept.

Now this is a hybrid that I would actually want to be seen in and can seriously imagine owning, even to the point of choosing this over my usual favorites. I have to say that Honda did a great job on this one. Actually looks like the car of the future without looking like something weird.

Praise to Honda! Good on them for offering a cheaper alternative to the Civic Hybrid (I own one by the way). While the shape reminds me of the Prius, it is still quite different and much more refined. I'm also getting images of the CRX when I look at the shape and glass rear panel. Great car, great manufacturer.
