As bad as I do feel for Ford right now, and the other American manufacturers, I can't find any reason that I personally would buy this vehicle over a hand full of competitors. There just isn't anything special about it that makes me want to part with my money. Obviously this just speaks to personal taste because I know that this is a great vehicle for a lot of average drivers. But it seems that average isn't cutting it in todays market any more.

looks classy and all, but... it's a mercury. i mean, what's the point of buying it? ford should really considering doing for mercury what gm has done for saturn: making it 'european'. yeah, go ahead and sell the focus, the mondeo, the smax and the kuga, fully loaded and with an upmarket appeal under the mercury brand, and see what happens.

I thought front design looked fine but then it is nothing really defferent from Cadillac. Rear end of this thing is just a falure.
