F430 and 911 GT3 targeted

Honda was never going to take Nissan's GT-R or the ever-elusive Lexus LF-A lying down and the next NSX was the most natural way to break that current GT-R tidal wave. What you observe here are leaked pictures of its see-through technical makeup, the stuff under the skin as it were. Thanks to contributing artist, Larson, a pretty accurate rendering completes the picture.

NSX hits the dealership network in late 2009 after numerous test sightings and spy shots published on WCF. Just from the figures it is evident that sardines aren't on the target menu; only the really big fish interest NSX, names like Ferrari F430 and Porsche 911 GT3 come to mind. For this to happen the NSX will employ the power of a 5.5-litre V10 whose cylinders will fire up an entire 560bhp/ 417kW through a sequential gearbox with steering wheel-mounted paddleshifters.

Honda's Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) should ensure 0 - 100km/h times of under 4 seconds and a top speed approaching 200mph or 322kh/h. Pricing may begin from the £100,000 mark.

Oh hell yes! The NSX rendering looks bloody great! I'd even go as far as saying that I'd have one over a 911 GT2!

Oh sure right. You must be dreaming right. Under 4 seconds, still way too slow, compare to 911 Turbo.

Agreed. This looks to be no more special than the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe, other than the lame styling-hack big-chrome-shield-grille treatment.

The problem is the Honda batch, the forms of the car will look better with the Acura batch as you can see on the see-through picture! Hope Honda will change a little bit the car to put their badge on it and make it more agressif, this one looks more GT then sportscar!

i'll bet that V10 is NA. anway, it isnt really a GTR killer when it's using a V10 and GTR is on a V6. Their hp are rather close too. Probably on a difference playing field. However, a twin-turbo makes alot of difference eh? I would like to see a new Supra! But, there's the IS-F already from Toyota. Wondering if they might push the Supra(if there is one) up into the ferrari, porsche region too.

It will be in a different league, technically and financially.

This looks to suffer from the same delusion of the old NSX, i.e., that people looking for an Aston Martin or a Ferrari will take a look at an Acura as a real alternative.

They should have followed-suit with Nissan and offered a cheaper, V6- or V8-based coupe that undercuts European supercars. Trying to go toe-to-toe with them is what killed the old model, and Honda should know better by now.

Pls don't look like in the technical pic, pls don't look like that, anyway , this will smash the competition.

I hope those stacked tailpipes are real. Surely Honda wouldn't stoop to the lows of Ferrar and Lexus as of recent months.

wait, stoop to the lows of ferrari? i can't think of anything apart from price/fuel econ that a honda has over any modern ferrari? unless it's about looks, then the old nsx was only as good as the ferraris of the day, not better. or did i miss something?

It looks nice but it doesnt scream out super car to me. It can be any coupe if they took the Honda badging away...could even be mistaken with a 350/370Z from first glance. The original NSX is still better
