looks clean but is this an all new developed car? if it is then i think they did a lousy job of not departing much from the current car. ah well the retro influence certainly paid off. and i can only imagine the zillion special editions tats gonna come out now.

For those who haven't been reading earlier reports/ articles, the 2010 Mustang is a facelift/reskin of the 2005 model, its not all-new. The platform, basic body structure, and mechanicals are modified/updated versions of the outgoing Mustang.

The Centre console electronics look like they've been lifted from the Volvo parts bin. Looks like Ford is ripping all it can from it's Sweedish subsidiary. So that's the previous S80 platform, electronics, powerplants, safety tech . . . no wonder they continue to maintain Volvo is not for sale

So what's so bad about I'm sure that u have dreamed when u wore a kid, that ur hot wheels cars wore real, so u may call the camaro a dream come true.
Ontopic: Yep this mustang looks good, but not aggressive enough :(

This was the we are to get excited for. please, it's still as ugly as the previous model and by no means. Plus who in their right mind will buy an Amuerican car now with the industry going in to bankrupcy soon. I think I'll stick to eurpeon car or asian, at least they car design cars that leave you dead in your track drooling and better quality.

looks like a fussily overstyled version of the older version. the challenger wipes the floor with this. And its still got that ugly little rear window

cheap quality this one dose look better on the outside but look at the center console and the dash all that plastic

Mustang did not have sequential turn signals in the 1960s. Its platform mate the Mercury Cougar did, and its larger brother the Ford Thunderbird did, but never Mustang.
Not a fan of the blackout divider between the grille and headlamps on the GT. The base model looks better in that area. And foglamps larger than the headlamps might look good on a Subaru Outback, but they're just flat, clumsy and cartoonish on this car, and they draw your attention to the fact that half of the grille honeycombs are blocked off.
Overall not unattractive, just not that exciting considering the months of teasers. But at least they didn't try to work the chrome three-bar grille onto it!

wow, looks the same as it's previous model. Nice, but too original.

D'oh. This board need an edit button. No one mention 'wikipedia has an edit button' this time.

This was the big secret? At least the back doesn't look so stationary now; like it has a certain flow to it or as if it's moving forward. Interior looks good too on first impression. Still, nothing I'd consider purchasing but for Mustang owners/fans, I don't see how they'd be disappointed with these small changes.

OK, so they pulled off the exterior. I personally like the more organic design of this vs the 2005. The interior seems much better than the original, although I cant give a true opinion until I touch it, and view it in person. I am somewhat insulted that Ford thinks they can get away with the live-axle still. With the Challenger using Mercedes' outstanding multi-link rear suspension, even the Camaro will have to work hard to achieve the same ride/handling finesse. There is no way the Mustang even has a chance. Its like they lost the race before it even began.

now it has been presented, when will they start coming up with stupid 'best mustang ever' versions on a monthly basis?

And this is why Ford is about to go bankrupt. Who cares about the Mustang, really? Bring the 60mpg Fiesta to the US market and that's a first good step, instead of wasting money and resource on a car that only a few Mustang enthusiasts will appreciate.

is it just me or does the rear resemble the current honda accord coupe?
November 18, 2008 6:59 pm
Eh, looks more like a facelift than an all new model. It is a bit sexier, that all I'm going to say.

hmm... pathetic. lol i was expecting something a little more "retro"... no that's not the word... maybe... "crazy"?? "radical"?? "DIFFERENT!!!"??? ESPECIALLY that last word there... DIFFERENT. still a very nice design... but to be competitive, they should have seriously done their homework a little more... and maybe some "extra work" lol...i thing that "guirallo" or however u spell it is a much more competitive design than this.

WHO CALLED IT?!! WHO CALLED IT?!! NOTHING BUT MORE OF THE BLOODY SAME CRAP!! Ford USA, this is why you deserve to go bankrupt. Let your more talented European staff do the designs. USA has lost its passion to make cars, especially the once beautiful Mustang.
Absolutely pitiful. But it is to be expected of Ford USA. Looks nothing bloody different and unique. Smaller, uglier, disgusting, pitifil, terrible. Put that all together and you get Ford USA.
Ford USA, do not even sell this pathetic excuse for a once great icon.
Chevy Camaro wins hands down. You lose, again, Ford USA.
