Eye Candy: BMW 7 Series Tries on Hamann wheels sets

Hamann is teasing with these two sets of wheels fitted to the new BMW 7 Series. They are the only wheel sets currently in development. Body has not been changed, yet, but that might turn out differently when the full tuning package is released. Soon.
The 7 Series has undergone an evolution rather than a revolution, as per BMW Director of Design's wishes. Mr Chris Bangle reckons evolution is the way to go every second generation, and therefore only worked to improve on 2001 7er rather than completely radicalise it.
Engine menu for now is 730d (180kW, 540Nm), 740i (240kW, 450Nm), and 750i (300kW, 600Nm), the latter two also coming in LWB Li versions.

all you bangle-haters out there, admit it. that does look good. not subtle, but good.
umm, no. People have different tastes on cars, and I still hate the way this 7s looks.
hmmm i don't like the front. those wheels are getting old now. they fit it for R R, Ferrari, BMW, Porsche and even Fiat! Kahn wheels will look better in this 7s
I used to love all bangle designs...6 series, old 7 series, 5 series...I just didn't like the X3, but this new 7 series looks like PURE CRAP, just like the X1.
Tuner_Mad wat do you mean dated POS?? this is like the new 7 series
Accoring to the Dr. Reithofer the Russia, India and China are important markets for BMW but you guys still talking about THE CAR in case of 7-series when any big luxury class sedan not just looks better than this one but still preserve some specific character of his own so important to have some common part with very issue of European culture. Bangle is a great guy, he at least tried something in that direction however I'll never liked his creations.
damn that looks good. all black is the way to go. i prefer ac schnitzer wheels tho
Agreed...the rims are bloody aweful but the yanks would love em cause they are bling bling. No accounting for taste eh:-)
I used to love the E65/E66 platform 7-Series but I just can't find an angle of this car that I like and I'm trying very very hard to like this car...emphasis on VERY VERY HARD.
after SL63 copied the 997 turbo rims... hammann copied the same rims as well.. interesting
alpina has a similar design with four splits on each spoke on the z8 from quite sometime so its hard to tell who copies who. these look good altho i think ac's are the best
Haha, that car has different rims on either side of it. Must look like an imbecile on the road.
youre not serious are ya? photoshoot? advertising? this car is gonna rock
