Twenty one-inch wheels for Maserati GT from Hamann. Look changes, engine when?

Amazing what a new set of wheels can do to the appearance of a car, a car that already is eye-catching in standard garb. Hamann, the German tuning house introduced these EDITION RACE wheels; FA 9.0Jx21 with tyres 245/30ZR21 and RA 12.5Jx21 with tyres 345/45ZR21 to the Maserati GranTurismo and altered its look.
GT from Maserati is a two-door 2+2 seater with a 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine that kicks out 405hp at 7,100rpm and 460Nm at 4,750rpm. These Hamann wheels are just priming the GT for a later engine and power upgrade, and maybe even a few physical changes. Watch this space.

this has always seemed a tragedy to me... it's probably the best looking car currently on the road (in my opinion), and especially with the rims/lowering but it's not a decent supercar.. if only ferrari would let them make it as fast as a ferrari, it'd be superb. but alas, no dice...
I;m not a fan of tuners or people who desecrate the work of Italy's greatest stylists, but I actually quite like these wheels. They seem to pad out some aspects of the car which in regular form are overwhelm by fussy detailing elsewhere. For example, the wide rubber at the rear now seems to beef up the read arches, giving them a more suitable proportion next to those massive rear light clusters. Harmony at last!
Is it the camera that makes those 21's seem small, or is the car really that big?
The original wheels looks better. but i think Kahn rims will be superb on it I really like this car, it's one of the best looking car these days where the manufacturers are fighting to produce the most ugliest ones.
go to the project kahn website, they have pics of the maser with the Kahn carbon wheels on it... absolutely gorgeous.
propably the most beautiful car available these days. rims should be all black.
The car is very beautyful, but the wheels of the standart GT are nicer. theses ones are great, but fit more a Ferrari I think
Looks like Maserati still share plastic molds for rear lights manufacturing with Ford's Mondeo plants. So change rims or customize your Mondeo.
Looks better than a normal GT. Need more torque from the engine though
whats up with the term Eye Candy???? can't find anything better?
They are saying to put candy in your eyes rather than look at these. =P
all it needs now is a turbocharger... or a couple of turbochargers - for power in the region of 500-600hp. :)
Looks very very good , the rims are not bad at all i think they make the car look even meaner +5
ahem ... must be the side effect of eating too much potatoes :} :} :} :}
