These aint paint jobs, remember the movie "Taxi" for Queen Latifa when the Russian girls removed the sticker from the BMW 7s? they are doing the same thing. Even here in UAE many cars are foiled with these sticker (of course not anime) but you can foil your car with any color you want without re-painting it. it's a good thing, prety expensive but it'll protect the paint.

A friend of mine did that to his 911 Turbo, which turned the 911 from white to black. Not sure how much it cost exactly, but it did cost some fortune, it does protect the paint really well tho.
