Volkswagen is now offering Tiguan with front-wheel-drive

Volkswagen in Germany has announced that the Tiguan is now available in front-wheel-drive as well. Tiguan's base model Trend & Fun, will offer FWD option to run with its TSI and TDI engine options. A maximum trailer load of 2,000kg is still possible even with this new drive system. On the other side of the spectrum is a 2.0 TDI turbo diesel engine producing 103kW/ 140hp and pulling power measured at 320Nm, and available at a lowly 1,750rpm. The TDI posts an average of 5.9 litres per 100km. That 1.4 TSI Trend & Fun can be financed via Volkswagen Bank at €275 a month from a 20 percent deposit over 36 months.
