The Victoria-based Australian specialty marque Bolwell has unveiled its latest model -- the Nagari.

The Nagari is a mid-engined, lightweight sports car powered by a 295 hp, 3.5 liter Toyota-made V6. With torque maxing out at 345 Nm, this 2,020 pound car (a mere 920 kg) packs plenty of boogie in terms of its horsepower to weight ratio.

Oh, yes, the news here is the pricing, coming in at 198,000 Australian Dollars, which translates into about 104,000 euros or 132,000 US dollars.

The Nagari was first shown at the Melbourne Motor Show back in March of this year. It features a 6-speed, paddle-shifted transmission and is made of "high-impact" composites along with carbon-fibre reinforcements. These lightweight materials were developed in the aerospace sciences to reduce weight on air and space crafts. Now, there are used in the automotive tuning world, talk about trickle-down technology.

The Nagari's 0 to 100 km/h time comes in at around 4 seconds. There's talk of a Tesla-like electric version somewhere down the line. Bolwell has started taking orders on the car and the first Nagari should be at home in someone's driveway by Christmas.

Looks like Lambo, Lancia & Dino had some bowell movements and s#!t this thing out. Put another shrimp on the baa-bee Mildred and pass me a Foster's.... somebody needs to get a better designer.

I would buy a Noble M15 over this thing. Same kind of car, but wayy better, and 20,000$ cheaper.

Is it my imagination but does this "supercar" look like the builders took parts from a number of diffrent cars and mold it in to one. The front isn't so bad, maybe a few changes, but the rear and body is just horrible.

And heck, who in their right mind will pay that price when you can get an R8 or Aston Martin DBS.

HAHAHAHAH! $132K for this...

What, did BMW take over all of the sudden, and decide pricing on more ridiculously ugly cars?

It's a fast delivery van though. Looks like the stylist died half way through sketching the profile.

I agree with Radmesieter. For those with the money there are better ways of spending it and achieving more.

It reminds me of old Fiero kit cars circa 1984. The front half looks like Maserati/Mclaren and the rear half looks like MR2/RSX

Good = light car with Supra engine Bad = design and price

Maybe it'll be included on Forza 3. One could buy a much more refined and nicer car than this. I doubt I'll see any on the street.

I don't mind it so much, but as I said, the price and styling are pretty poor.

What happened to the supercharger?? I saw the Nagari at the Melbourne motor show and i'm sure it had a supercharger. probably a price thing $198k is a bit rich.
