Wald International has updated its styling kit for the Lexus IS-F, which in itself was pretty awesome to look at in the first place. Previously shown in a very aggressive tone back in June, the Wald-style was authoritative yet Lexus still in its approach.

New pictures are out now, showing some changes. The new look is more agro, with larger front intakes, wider side-sills which flow to the rear skirt, dual lower splitter and the usual Wald shark-gill extractor vents placed behind the rear wheels.

Rear diffusers have become commonplace and Wald did not take the road less traveled as far as this is concerned. A diffuser puts balance between the four rather cozily-coupled tailpipes and acts as downforce agent along side the rear wing.

The car keeps its 5.0-litre V8 which is mated with an 8-speed paddleshift gearbox, and produces 417 bhp/ 311kW.

And I thought it's factory mods were enough. Not saying it's a bad car, just looks a little over-done by Wald.

yea Wald is usually a bit over the top. Their kits usually stick out. I like the rear and the wheels. The front spoilers look like it'll be more of a detrimental for the aerodynamics than be helpful

I like how WALD was back in the days when they were more discreet...all of a sudden they've gone bonkers. Must be a new guy in charge of design or something

that front looks pretty nice, only it doesnt seem to flow well with the rest of the car when you look at a front angle view

..i agree with you surething..the front end is nice, but it doesn't really fit with the rest of the car....and can't they tune up the engine ? perhaps producing 550 hp ? that sounds nice
