I don't know why they are so proud of this F1 title, as to go name a car in it's honor. they made some really embarassing mistakes that made them lose the drivers championship. McLaren wes clearly the best team this year (though Hamilton was, also clearly, not the best driver)..
well anyway, I wonder who'd still buy the normal F430 Scuderia now..

I don't usually come on forums to start arguments but your comment is truly dumb. First off, Ferrari still is, the number 1 team in Formula One's history with the most championships won, including the most won consecutively. Second, they lost this years championship by ONE POINT! (98-97). What exact "embarrassing mistakes" are you speaking of? How is Mclaren "clearly a better team" when they won by a SINGLE POINT? Seriously guy, don't hate on Ferrari, they got street cred and a long F1 list of championships to back it up.

wickedated, he was referring to the pit lane incidents and mock ups whic happened this year on a number of occasions. But.. no if or buts, its done and dusted.

would be interesting how the normal scuderia performs compared to this one with the new duble clutch system

Design is good, just the car is useless. The Scuderia coupe it meant for the track because it's light. the Canvas mechanicals will double it's weight (ok, not literally.)

I thought Ferrari is back with the Scuderia, but now it seems they lose their soul again

this seems like SUCH a pointless exercise... why bother trying to make a lightweight track car, then lop off the roof so that it needs it's chassis strengthening, thus adding weight again? this car is for posers and nothing more

DID ANY ONE ELSE NOTICE? if you look closely at the pictures of the interior, especially the one with the steering wheel and the one of the red car from behind/top, you can see that instead of a radio it has an iphone holder, you can clearly see the icons/network on the steering wheel pic, and the slider on the picture with a horse on the phone.

...idiots who like fish tacos! She's gorgeous. The point is, if you're a guy and can't get a girl, here's your solution! If that doesn't work then there's just no hope for you.
November 9, 2008 5:25 pm
Umm... about that, you can just get a MUCH cheaper F430 spider, and that will still get you girls. This car has no purpose to exist.
November 9, 2008 5:52 pm
Lmao na it wont get you no girls , i mean if you're a loser you're a loser but w.e. it's not even the point , the point is that if i dont track the car but just liek the way it looks, and i want a droptop for summer , and it still performs much better than reg f430 , i would get it you know , not every1 is buying a ferrari to track it , you can buy porsche for that =]

Here's the purpose for this car= All 499 limited editions have already been spoken for, and Ferrari just made a cool profit which will be used for further R&D. It's all business for Ferrari. I wouldn't mind one of these in my garage either.

Don't care if you care. If GT-R beats a GT2, it also beats this and this is even more expensive. Ferrari is not holy! By far not, they are hideously overpriced.

i do hope that maybe one day u'l grow out of this teenage obsession with the GTR... the difference between this and the gtr is that in 5 years it wont be just another jap import that yet another council worker will strap four million turbos to to say its the quickest thing ever... nobody cares!!! i mean look at the gtr, then look at this... if you could somehow get your GTR beer goggles off you'd see that this looks a hell of a lot better... which is the point of this!
November 13, 2008 2:02 am
I'm not even a GT-R fan, it was just an ironic remark because it's funny that only Porsche is being compared while the GT-R is actually also faster than 'holy' Ferrari but they are 'untouchable'...
But irony is maybe a bit too difficult for some.

Ugh, how come no pictures of it with the hardtop on? I think that thats a very important issue, cuz without it it looks hot, but for example the F430 Spyder looks like ass with the top on...

OOoooh and I love the Italian flag stripe..very classy, loves these little details plus it goes back to the Challenge Stradale!!!
November 9, 2008 7:09 pm
GT-R GT-R GT-R, big wow. The Ferrari has something the GT-R will never have, heritage and flair. The GT-R may be fast, but its all computers, and its ugly. This on the other hand, pure Italian sexyness. Can you imagine the sound this stallion makes...

For me the hardcore nature of the Scuderia doesn't sit well with the poseur-focused Spider. Could this be the M3 Convertable for the chap who clearly has more money than sense? A sad reflection on who Ferrari are building cars for these days, perhaps also echoed with the California.
November 9, 2008 8:00 pm
I still maintain this car won't have a retractable hardtop. Does anyone see it? Does it make any sense in a lightweight racer? Could it possibly fit in the firewall between an engine and the seats? I still say it'll be a soft-top. The iPod/iPhone jack made me sick in my mouth too, as if Ferrari isn't being nerdy enough already. Still, as usual, all units have been accounted for. I'd still have the coupe.
November 9, 2008 8:11 pm
those wheels are kinda ugly way too thin. And why do you want a convertible version of a car that was meant to be for the track. Convertible = more weight. This one is purely for the poser crowd
