Will there be a family admission discount to view the "restored" Cayennes? Will the exhibit feature period mockups of grocery bags, school bookbags/sports equipment, and the family dog(s)?

a museum? great. so in twenty years they can look back and still feel ashamed for what they did with the cayenne and panamera. or will they be selling city cars and minivans by that time?

They're just making money. I won't care about their other models as long as they keep their sports cars in their range, and promote racing.

if selling cayennes and panameras keeps them in the business of selling 911s and boxters, we should be thrilled. i was at the old museum 2 years ago, it was very small. they were in the process of building the new one which they informed me would be substantially bigger.

What a load of crap here. Porsche's history is unique in the automotive world. Nothing even comes close. I will definitely visit and be awed. I already like the old museum.

The Porsche 914 was and is an excellent design, only unsuccessful because of porsche vw family squabble/rivalry. The 914 if allowed to be developed, would have outperformed the 911 by far. Porsche always makes sure their cars are within their company heirarchy, similar to the way they have carefully packaged cayman performance so as not to out perform 911 series. Anyone who has ever driven a well prepared 914 knows this. First in class, sixth overall 24hrs.LeMans,is this a unsuccessful car? I think not. And,dont even start with the not a real Porsche stuff, the very first Porsches were engineered from VW parts, and they are among the most admired cars ever.
