2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser Special Edition at SEMA 2008

Toyota present their new FJ Cruiser Special Edition - a new addition to the range based largely off its limited edition predecessor, the Trail Teams Edition model. Toyota kicked off sales of their limited-run FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Edition in January and ran production until April, shifting some 3,200 examples.
Much like the 2008 version, the 2009 model year Special Edition model is available exclusively in a SandStorm Metallic white paintjob and imposing black painted mirrors, handles, bumpers and rock rails, while a range of further styling and technical upgrades are packaged.
Among them are 16-inch TRD 'bead-lock' alloy wheels, Bilstein shock absorbers and exclusive trail team badging. Inside and a range of upgrades are also included, principally the Convenience Package - which adds among other upgrades cruise control and keyless entry - leather steering wheel with audio control, beige fabric inserts and a 6CD with MP3 connection stereo system.

2008 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Special Edition
Following the success of the FJ Cruiser TRD limited edition, in January 2008 Toyota introduced the FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Edition.
White roof and body with black trim pieces sets this FJ apart from the rest.
Standard features include specially-tuned Bilstein shock absorbers,BF Goodrich All-Terrain Tires with custom 16-inch TRD alloy wheels, Cyclone air cleaner, differential lock and A-TRAC, TRD exhaust system, rock rails, all-weather floor mats, front bumper-mounted auxiliary lights, and front and rear skid plates.
Only 3,200 units were produced from January 2008 through April 2008.
The FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Special Edition makes its second consecutive appearance at SEMA and is featured at the Off Road Proving Grounds.
