This is what appears to be the first official image of the NISMO 370Z. With the recent 370Z reveal, it seems likely this visually amped-up version of it will also see the streets sometime in 2009 as well.

NISMO is Nissan's own tuning division, with the name derived from NISsan MOtorsports. Details are few about what tuning features it will have but you can get an idea here with what NISMO did with the previous 350Z.

The new Nissan 370Z will feature a new 3.7 liter, 330 hp engine, which adds 30 additional horses in output compared with the 300 hp of the 350Z. The NISMO 370Z will come with lots of additional exterior bells and whistles but no news on whether NISMO will offer any additional horses, which the last NISMO 350Z did not.

Nissan will unveil the new 370Z Coupe at the LA Auto Show on the 19th of November. It will go on sale in early 2009.

Not bad, let's see the front, and I hope Veilside will make a body kit for 370Z too, it would be so cool.

Well, that's because it is. Anything wrong with that?

No, nothing wrong with being Japanese,

It just looks like some Toyota prototype to be sold in America...

The more I see it, the more I like the new Z. NISMO did an excellent job keeping the car tasteful looking without over doing it. Too early to say just yet, but I think I like the design of the 370 more than the GTR.

I agree. I think the 370 looks better than the GTR but then again, this is the second generation of this shape. Perhaps the GTR will evolve a little and look as good as this.

Oh c'mon it's one of the finest in the tuner world, do u remember Fortune Maisty Kit for the NSX that one was a real hit, and who could forget one of the stars from Tokyo drift the Mazda RX-7 Fortune Kit and did u see the Premier kits for european luxury cars like Aston,Lambo and Bentley

The only Veilside kits I've seen (I haven't seen that many to be honest) have been over-the-top, with fins, scoops and have an inefficient ricer-style.

This car looks absolutely beautiful! I never really liked the styling of the 350 because it looked a little unfinished, but this new generation is right on the money.

As far as it looking like a typical Japanese sports car, that's not a bad thing. You can tell that it's a Nissan (which is a good thing). The Japs know cars and styling (except for the over-the-top aftermarket kits).

clean, meaner yet carries most of the traits from the 370z....im really against the interior of the car....it's giving in to more of a classy feel rather than the sport as it should be.

Ya but its still lighter than the older one so they had a little room to be more refined.

i generally hate ricers, but lose the big wing and this would look pretty hot. though am i the only one who sees a lot of the 911 shape in it? (not an insult, just an observation). hopefully this time they won't have the huge supporting bar through the boot.
