BMW X6 Hybrid Spied
BMW's first hybrid is close to production.
Our sources tell us that this lightly-disguised BMW X6 with the distinctive bump in the hood is a prototype of the X6 Active Hybrid. Judging by the pictures, and our source's assertion that it was seen running silently on full electric power before letting the gasoline engine kick in and accelerating off, the BMW's first hybrid will definitely be the X6, and it's on the way soon. Could we be seeing the X6 Active Hybrid on the road as a 2010 model?
The rumor mill is also talking about the possibility that the X6 Active Hybrid will be a single-color model line, adding additional distinction on the road. No word on which color that might be.

well, think. the only real problems with this car are the fuel economy and the rear visibility. taking out one of those problems seems a pretty good idea...

X6 is not only ugly, it's a copy of the Ssangyong Actyon... How low can you go.
And then a hybrid... who said the Japanese are copy cats?

Lucifa, the X6 actually has the best economy out of all of its competitors, go check the figures against Porsche, Land Rover etc. Its faster, more economical, cheaper to run and is actually 'quite green' with its low emissions. a Bad car? I think not, why would Land Rover go and make one if it is pointless?

"The rumor mill is also talking about the possibility that the X6 Active Hybrid will be a single-color model line, adding additional distinction on the road." May I suggest 'mutt brown' for the dog this car is.
