The POTENTIAL fo SAAB is limitless. Unless GM lets in new blood to make it happen, SAAB will be ther perenial "What Might Have Been" company.

saab is the biggest loser of gm terrible finances, they have been underfunded for 15 years now, with nothing but very old platforms and having to make do facelift after facelift on the same cars. the 9-5 is soooo long in the tooth now with the most hideous of facelifts as well. they keep showing concepts but by the time they will reach production they will be outdated already. god only knows how many sketches have been released for the 9 5 with the date constantly being pushed back

I never lived with a SAAB so I don't know how they are in depth...but they always were appealing and were always on the list of cars to consider buying. I wish them well... BUT...I think they should leave the drawer making to the other Swedes...IKEA!
