After nearly five years of intensive development and testing, engineer Dieter Fuoß presents his lightweight trackcar for the road, the Fuoss 01.
Engineered for weight saving, the lack of a roof contributing to the car's 300 kilo (661 lbs) kerb weight, the Fuoss 01 delivers a vehicle you 'won't want to get out of'. Powered by a 400cc mid-positioned Suzuki DOHC motor, generating 43 PS, the Fuoss 01 can top 145 kph (90 mph), but more importantly - through its low centre of gravity, central seating position and direct steering mechanism - offer a particularly special driving experience.
Rainproof switches and dials negate the lack of a roof, while the car's frame is designed for optimum safety. Lightweight alloys and a 5-speed sequential gearbox are further luxuries.
Deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2009 to the lucky few able to get their hands on one of just 10 examples set for production next year. Exclusivity is further ensured with colour choice available to suit any customer's wish. In addition to the Fuoss 01's 29,000 euro (inc. tax) price tag, a range of appealing cost efficiencies keep its running costs low, namely low insurance costs, road tax and fuel consumption of 5l / 100km (47 mpg).

That looks more like a sports lawnmower, although i do like the idea of being a pizza delivery car.
