The covert agents at Autospies.com have been known to use the term “exclusive” a bit gratuitously but this time they mean it. Agent Lee, an Autospies correspondent in Japan has uncovered what appears to be a brochure of the new RX.
Making its debut in Los Angeles next month the new RX receives its design inspiration from the recent LF-Xh Concept. Although the same overall body shape is retained, the RX gets larger dimensions giving it 7 seat capacity.
At launch the engine line-up which includes the 3.5-liter V6 will stay largely unchanged but further down the line we should see the introduction of a 400 horsepower powerplant. Production for the new model will commence in late December before going on sales early in 2009 as a 2010 model.

Otherwise it's a pretty good car. I would like to see RX350h though. You know the average Joe who wants to do his bit to save the planet, a 4.5litre-engined car is a bit of a stretch...
and the catalogue is kinda dumb. It shows 2 pictures, they're basically identical apart from the colour and the wheels. So labelling them is basically pointless.
What I also find redundant is the fact that Japanese car catalogues ALWAYS use English translated words (katagana)... URGHH!!! Like the front grille is furontoguriru.. wtf. I'm sure there's Japanese words for them...
