Dutch automotive site 925.nl has unearthed new images of the upcoming Aston Martin One-77.

The One-77 was announced just a couple of months ago but has already sold out. Its deep pocket-buyers, who've had to leave a hefty £200,000 deposit to place their orders, will have to wait until late 2009 for their cars to begin coming in.

Proving once again how daring supercars can be, the One-77 was announced amid one of the worst slumps in the automotive business in decades with the eye-popping price tag of £1,050,000 or roughly 1.4 million euros.

The car's details are few but the One-77 is expected to come with a 7.3-liter V12 engine churning out over 700hp. It will also have aluminium body panels and a carbon fibre chassis.

Aston Martin has limited production to just 77 models, in keeping with true supercar tradition and settling on the obvious number 77, the same one that designates the car.

This is a good, gradual evolution of Aston Design - it's for the best, I think. The jump from DB7 to DB9 wasn't radical, but we still liked it. This is cool. Another interesting thought - 7.3-litre V12? Don't Aston and Mercedes have plans to share engines/engine components in the near future? The only 7.3-litre Merc engine I know of is the AMG unit in the back of the Pagani Zonda! Yeowtch!

i´d rather take the veyron for that kind of money, it looks good but not exclusive and unique enough.

If you have that kind of money to spend on a car, you obviously don't have just one car. Bet most of the buyers already have a veyron or two.

The show stopper! Pure sex on wheels! If not for the smoked out headlights, I'd probably be calling this flawless beauty my dream car.

absolutely stunning, what a beauty - aston couldn't get it better. as far as i know, the 7,3L AMG in the Zonda R pumps out 750hp, i expect the same number in this car, if it really is gonna be that engine.

front looks like an alien face lol

mmm im reserving my judgement on the slit for when the actual headlight casing is shown... knowing aston they'll figure something out and make it look sexy! haha

umm... 1 million pounds for that?? i dunno... exclusive and all but seriously... however, if i had all the money in the world i'd definitely buy one, even though id prob have a veyron too. just for fun.

I just don't like it, I would take a DBS over this anytime. Its does not have the presence of a million dollar supercar.

Phenomenal! I love the design!

However, for that price, it'd want to be phenomenal on the track as well.

Not too crazy about it , would never spedn 1000000 if i had,it looks like a toy I'd take veyron , enzo , slr , carrera gt , zonda and many more over this anytime , it reminds me of reventon , and i mean it's pointless, however it's just my oppinion so no flame please.

they are all pointless in a way. You could argue that anything more expensive or extravagant than a Nano, if you get my jist. At what point does a car become pointless?

This is so not Aston Martin, Only thing I actually like of the car is the rear end.

Well i guess that what you get when you sell a name to a car manufaturer that can't design or sell a car in the America's or europe. And before some wise ass starts shouting his/her mouth off that TATA is well know, (so I've been told) yet I've never heard of them since last year. so save it and yes I'm canadian and yes I'm over 25 years of age.

Iconic
October 29, 2008 5:25 AM
Hey dude... TATA didn't buy aston. Prodrive and a middle eastern investment group did . I'm not much older than you but if you're on this site, I think you should atleast know that much. you're confusing it with land rover and jaguar. And no big deal if you only heard of TATA last year, you'll be hearing of them quite a bit from now on.

with that said, theres nothing million dollar about this car. I was expecting much better from aston, but i suspect it'll sound like a true monster.

dmanero...can you tell me why this is so not aston martin ?

All of Aston cars in the past and recent model are all conservative and upclass. This model is somthing that a corvette design put together with aston influence.

Iconic, My bad, I was just reeading over the press release and must have gotten my facts wrong, my bad. but still this is a poor design on Aston's market front. and I'd be suprised that they sell all 77 cars. Seeing they can get a far better looking DBS or any othe exotics for that price.

October 29, 2008 6:17 AM
They already sold all 77 cars.

Does anybody else wonder what the interior of the car looks like?

michelin901
October 29, 2008 7:31 AM
it looks like a mashup of a vanquish, a zagato and the db9. nothing special

afterace2
October 29, 2008 10:31 AM
The point of this car is that there are only 77 of them an this makes it so exclusive that nobody really cared about the price. That's why all of them are sold out long before a single one came out revealing design. It reminds other models of course, but it's different enough so nobody will take it for a DB9. I think it's a pitty there is such a small amount of them to be made, a bit detuned it could be a great Vanquish successor.

this is a beauty unlike the reventon. price is just stupid, get much more from cheaper alternatives. it is mind blowing, 7.3 liters etc etc but still, there is no way it could justify that price.

lucifa
October 29, 2008 1:33 PM
not bad, but it has a problem - it's trying to look both luxurious and insane-supercar at the same time. the only cars that really manage that are the veyron and the slr. this misses both marks, unfortunately - not reserved enough to be luxurious, not insane enough to be a jaw-dropping supercar. good looking, but not iconic unfortunately...

JackJack
October 29, 2008 1:38 PM
Can't justify this price. And the styling is nice but not spectacular. Still too much of the old designs in there. Needs to be radical!! Engine needs to be completely new. Not an old 7.3 Merc engine. even though the 7.3 Merc engine is a trusted stalwart and can do the job. I just think everything on this car needs to be brand new and revolutionary.

it uses the engine off the zonda's amg? i am not sure about that

hitar_potar
October 29, 2008 2:18 PM
The 7,3 Merc is old, but nobody complains about it in the zonda. besides, may be it won't be this engine after all. anybody heard rumours about AMG working on a new engine, probably between 6,4 - 6,9 l, making in excess of 600hp while naturally aspirated and without any tweaking???

i like it, but the V8 Vantage, well, its kinda better, i think =) :) ;) 8-)

£1m... If I was willing to spend it on GT's, I'll either get a veyron, or As many V8 vantages or DBS's as I could buy.

i bet if yall saw it in person you would have to change your pants. it's tough to know what its road presence is by looking at it in a pic. This car is stunning, unique, and exclusive. if i had the $$$ i would be in for sure.

effington
October 30, 2008 6:20 AM
me too mate, me too! haha i dont think i could ever sit in one of these though, again, a spare pair of pants would be needed! astons interiors are the best in the business, and £1,050,000 says this wont disappoint! lol

October 30, 2008 5:56 AM
As long as it's got fantastic stability up to 200mph, can top 130mph in the quarter, and has an interior that beats everything ever built, it'll be ok.

mps
October 30, 2008 10:20 AM
You all keep talking about it being too pricey which is beyond silly now. Do you really believe that the people who already bought it would care if it was 2 mil? They payed for the exclusivity.

More than £1M car should be closer to the ideal than this one.

Keep in mind that's just a scale model, it's not a car. I'll reserve judgment until I've seen the real thing.
