With the official site now live and the introduction drawing close, Porsche seems to have let the security surrounding the Panamera four-door sedan relax a bit. Flickr user Hysterical Bertha caught a nearly undisguised Panamera prowling the streets of San Francisco recently. Apart from some black tape and a bit of chrome tape to change the greenhouse lines, the vehicle in the photos appears to be a production-ready Panamera. The lines are by now familiar to Porschephiles and all of the enthusiasts waiting eagerly, nervously or cynically for the car to debut in Geneva in March 2009.
Current speculation calls for powerplants to be shared with the Cayenne, giving the rear-drive Panamera a choice of 385- or 500-horsepower 4.8 liter V8 engines under the hood.
