good looking car, a little derivative though, apart from the awful grille that does it no favours. performance specs not that bad either.

This is definately an exciting car, can't wait for it to be released here in the States. Another site (http://GenesisForums.org)had a very cool and colorful e-brochure on this car, showed some different angles. 11 pages in total I believe. They also had some exclusive photo's and videos of the Coupe and even a dyno video of the turbo 4. 0-100kmh (0-62mph) for this car is being reported at around 5.9 seconds. That is pretty frigg'n good!

Let me clarify that the 0-100 was for the V6 model running on regular gas. I think with premium fuel and a 0-60 run should equate to mid 5 seconds.

it looks like a tiburon and a g37 had sex and made this. Which is wierd because the g37 would never have sex with a tiburon ;).

The car looks ok now but expect the typical yearly facelift from Hyundai...

Nice car!! I just looooove the puke green colour....not. Let's see how it sells in these market conditions!!! Why a de-speced unit for the states?
October 15, 2008 10:09 am
It's not really de-speced, I assume korea is the same as europe fuel wise, minimum octane available is 95, here in canada the highest we can get is 94 and thats 10% ethanol not even straight gasoline, if u want straight u have to settle for shell v-power 92 octane. It's just what that engine will pump out with 91 or 92 octane fuel, if you can get some 98 or something in it it will put out the higher specs.

Radmeister, doesn't the states have 95+ octane fuel? Here in South Africa, we get 93 and 95 Octane inland and 95 and 97 Octane at the coastal areas. Some high performance cars prefer 98 octane (like and AMG) with a minimum requirement of 95. How do you solve the problem in Canada?

O ya and its a 4door lol. I think it has to do with the transmission.

I'm surprised no one has noticed this... the front end is a ripoff of the Lexus LF-C concept. Still, it is good looking car and should open up a huge market at this price range.. maybe.
And the girl in red... hooooot!

I'm just this car will have lots of after-market products to help soop it up. Performance is a bit ehhhh... but with a few tweaks here and there like wider and lighter wheels, this car seems to have a lot of potential among young buyers.

At least hyundai is making better looking cars than nissan, this car looks way better than any nissan...i never thought hyundai would become what they are right now...a serious competition for any japanese brand.
