You seriously have to be insane, or so full of cash you don't know what to do with it, to buy a ?200k totalled car! Maybe if it was the only one in the world, a unique racing classic lost in a great race, but just because they used it in a Bond film? Moronic.

I agree. the buyer should have to make an equal payment to some charity as punishment for blowing this much money on a wreck.

It's his money; he can do with it as he pleases. What would the world be if you got punished for using what's yours in the way that you like to.
That said, believe it or not, I do agree that it wasn't the smartest of decisions on his part but hey.

Completely agree that as it's his money he can spend it on whatever he may choose, though I don't really get what it's all about? I mean, some of the classic Bond cars I would sell my arm for, but a wreck, one that can't even be enjoyed in the same form it appears in the film..
Love some pics if anyone has a link or knows where to go for them?

As Decypha and jpm said, it's his money. I'd buy a house with that money, but to each their own.

he should have died in that lake. and why doesnt anyone restore that dbs....if they did it wit an enzo (whoever did it), they can do it to a dbs too. anyhow....my opinion, very stupid of that collector.

Enzo is worth about 1.4 million dollars and cost what a DBS costs new to fix....
