Dodge Challenger SRT10 Concept to Debut in SEMA
Dodge Challenger SRT10 Concept

Dodge is set to debut its 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT10 Concept at SEMA in las Vegas in November. As an opportunity for SRT engineers to out-do themselves, the Challenger SRT10 Concept uses the 8.4-liter all-aluminum V-10 engine from the Dodge Viper which produces 600 horsepower and 560 lb. ft. of torque. Decked out in Tornado Red paint with a carbon-fiber deck lid and “shaker” hood, the Challenger SRT10 Concept is a nostalgic representation of the 1970 HEMI Cuda. Suspension is upgraded to with Bilstein shocks and the interior receives sport seats and carbon-fiber accents throughout and, of course, in true Viper form, a red engine start push-button in the dash.

560 lbft...mmm you can translate it as carry 3.5 ton easyly...torque is strenght...brut force, an easy explain its you get pushed to your seat when you accelerate and power its force * speed or RPM and you can "see" it on Kph or Mph American engines since long time have a lot of torque ant it must have a lot of it to move A/T instead europeans cars have always chose manual gearbox

As long as you get a frequent buyer discount on rear tyres, or invest in Dunlop stock.
