VIDEO: Aston Martin One-77 Teaser

You know, I almost cried watching this video clip. I’m not saying the Aston Martin One-77 concept is a child, but have you ever listened to a father talking about his son, not to another man but to a woman, with those violins in the background setting the scene? It’s like that with Dr Ulrich Bez and Marek Reichman, CEO and Director of Design respectively regarding the One-77.

In this promotional video the two men wax lyrical about the car as a concept, its life as a piece of art that combines beauty with outstanding engineering. One-77 is a super car indeed; 7.0-litre, 700 bhp and only 77 will be made. Highly exclusive, only a small team of people work on this car, which allows for exceptional craftsmanship as well as a tighter reporting schematic than if they were mass-producing 3000 examples.

We are not counting on the One-77 breaking records at Nürburgring, “Aston Martin is not about figures…for us it’s more important what is beyond the figure..” Watch the video and decide if it really is the most beautiful Aston Martin ever conceptualised.

I reckon it's not as good as it can be. Sure i'd love to have one, but they could have done things better. Like that huge front grille could be better, i reckon sit the grill back a bit with the body coming forward making for of an intake rather than a frame like grille across the front....if you get what i mean

nice but way over priced i mean 1000000 pounds you could get 7 lp640's for that amount of money.

I agree-if you're playing with 1 million you should go berserk. Bugatti's a bit different considering its performance and exclusivity/brand/uniqueness; this still has the basic shape of a DB9/Vanquish/DBS. For 1million we need something that can stand up to the Maybach Excelero maybe.

This is a uglyfied version of the other models whit steoroids, Where is the harmony in the design they are talking about. Bring back Mr Fisker, he knew how to give a car a supreme design.

The rear end looks a little similar to the new 370Z imo.

total bullshit on the golden proportions. the classic Mini or Beetle has golden proportions. modern cars don't. the One-77 doesn't have golden proportions.
