ONLY in a straight line. And the CCXR might actually catch up because it is much lighter with and has a bit more hp.

I would love to see the Veyron Vs the CCXR Edition on TopGear.
With a Price Tag of 1.5 Million Pounds, I would expect a Blonde & a Redhead inside & A Brunette on the bonnet.
What is the Weight saving with all the carbon Fibre?
It sure doesn't save on the bank account though!!! But BOY what a beaut!!!!

If this thing runs on a sunflower-oil or whatever it is derived fuel, what good does that do?
A. This car won't ever go into production
B. What use is developing a bio-fuel car that runs on a fuel that is not sustainable?

this bio fuel thing is a gimmick to sound greener and be able to post better performance numbers. In reality the car has to inject 30% more fuel using bio fuel over conventional gasoline. In the end getting poorer fuel economy and polluting more at the same time... That being said, it does have some gains, the first being you don't need to rely as heavily on foreign oil. The second being that later generation biofuels do not create fuel from corn and other food crops. Algae crops for example produce 20x more fuel per acre then conventional e85 ethanol corn crops. The last good thing would be that it helps counteract global cooling created by all the damn prius's :P

Thats not true at all Joe limon. The biofuel is made of ethanol and gasoline. Ethanol burns alot faster and hotter and thats why it gets 20% more power. it doesent consume any more than regular fuel. Volvo uses it in Sweden cause its a bit greener. A few other manufacors use it mainly for the increase of power, like lotus and koenigsegg

The CCXR has never been featured on Top Gear. It was the CCR, and the CC8 before that.
