MPH fans will be extremely excited to learn that the ultra-exclusive Koenigsegg CCXR Edition and Pagani Zonda F Carbon will feature as star attractions at the upcoming MPH Show in the UK. On the 30th October these two heroes will grace UK soil, packing in total a mind-numbing 1668 bhp, with both costing a frosty £2.17 million together.

Fuelled by biofuel, Koenigsegg CCXR Edition counts such victims as Ferrari Enzo, Porsche Carrera GT and Bugatti Veyron with its crushing 2.9 second time from 0 – 100km/h. Using a twin-supercharged 4.8-litre V8 for its 1018 bhp/ 759kW, the car is capable of 254mph-plus top speed runs.

Going down continental Europe from CCXR’s Swedish home to Italy, we understand a Pagani Zonda F Carbon will also feature at MPH. That particular meteor uses a 7.3-litre V12 engine of 650bhp/ 484kW to post a 0 – 100 time of 3.6 seconds and a top end of 214 mph. The Italian stallion features a lifting system to cope with uneven roads and possibly extra-naughty speed humps. Give it to Top Gear again for their everyday test drive at the mall, see how it does. Speaking of TG, the show will broadcast its first Top Gear Live segment at the MPH, and audiences will be able to come within a breath of hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

ONLY in a straight line. And the CCXR might actually catch up because it is much lighter with and has a bit more hp.

I would love to see the Veyron Vs the CCXR Edition on TopGear. With a Price Tag of 1.5 Million Pounds, I would expect a Blonde & a Redhead inside & A Brunette on the bonnet.

What is the Weight saving with all the carbon Fibre? It sure doesn't save on the bank account though!!! But BOY what a beaut!!!!

If this thing runs on a sunflower-oil or whatever it is derived fuel, what good does that do? A. This car won't ever go into production B. What use is developing a bio-fuel car that runs on a fuel that is not sustainable?

this bio fuel thing is a gimmick to sound greener and be able to post better performance numbers. In reality the car has to inject 30% more fuel using bio fuel over conventional gasoline. In the end getting poorer fuel economy and polluting more at the same time... That being said, it does have some gains, the first being you don't need to rely as heavily on foreign oil. The second being that later generation biofuels do not create fuel from corn and other food crops. Algae crops for example produce 20x more fuel per acre then conventional e85 ethanol corn crops. The last good thing would be that it helps counteract global cooling created by all the damn prius's :P

Thats not true at all Joe limon. The biofuel is made of ethanol and gasoline. Ethanol burns alot faster and hotter and thats why it gets 20% more power. it doesent consume any more than regular fuel. Volvo uses it in Sweden cause its a bit greener. A few other manufacors use it mainly for the increase of power, like lotus and koenigsegg

The CCXR has never been featured on Top Gear. It was the CCR, and the CC8 before that.
