HAHAHA AMEN!
Besides, with the world economy tanking, I'd be surprised if anyone would be smart enough to save their shillings on this one.
BMW and Bangle think too highly of themselves to value this thing at $160K. I'll give them maybe $45K at most.

they should think highly of them selves ... just do drive any BMW nd then tell me what they should think of them selves!

If you drive it maybe, but face it - would you REALLY pay that amount for something that looks like this?
October 9, 2008 5:47 am
The new 7's kinda growing on me. Besides the oversized grille and strange looking taillights, the car really doesn't seem that bad. And of course, I have yet to have driven it or even read an article about its driveability. And the interior isn't that bad, but very little distinguishes it from the current 7. Why not simply call the color "metallic dark green" instead of "Diopside Black metallic" just to make it sound "exclusive". And $160K is way too much for this, $100K would be reasonable.

i doesnt sound so bad but when you could buy a audi S8, MB s500, lexus ls, and any other car in the market and by that kind of price you will like a good looking car on a fugly one

I guarantee you they will sell all 31 cars, and will probably get requests for more.

now the normal one looks fine but this is just rediculously ugly! dont people give nice looking things at x-mas??
October 9, 2008 3:45 am
it's overpriced...but remember how NM sold the 50 limited edition M6 within 1 minutes and 30 seconds?
October 9, 2008 4:58 am
I don't get it with pips. This car isn't ugly at all as a matter of fact it's understated. I know that pips out there will buy the 31.
October 9, 2008 5:01 am
Exactly.. i don't see whats ugly about it. Infact the styling is very conservative, very inoffensive. But hey, everyones entitled to their own opinion.
October 9, 2008 6:24 am
To please target customer should BMW develope a shootingbrake for next Easter.
October 9, 2008 7:31 am
The 160K gets you more than just the car, NM is also selling the trip, and the people who are buying this car are also buying it for that European experience. It can be said that the consumers in this market are the least affected financially during hard economic times, I bet they will sell out of them. Take a look at the rest of the catalogue - this is a medium priced item!
October 9, 2008 1:19 pm
The car is fugly, doesn't matter if is a NM version or not...looks like a nerd laughing!
October 9, 2008 1:42 pm
160k in $ is not that much, changed into Euros it´s about 118k. I think that´s not too much for a fully equipped brand new limited edition 7 series.
October 9, 2008 2:02 pm
The car looks so good in this picture (compared to other pictures I've seen of it) It looks more like a BMW. Maybe for the facelift they will give it a normal grill and new tail lamps, thats all it really needs as far as I'm concerend (Ok, not really). Now, there is NO weigh that I would pay that much for one, of course I wouldn't buy an LI anyweigh...
I still think they will be able to sell all of them no doubt.
October 9, 2008 7:32 pm
considering that a business class ticket on Lufthansa is about 10k each plus some 5 star hotel nights its not too bad a deal, but then if you can afford that car you probably have more than enough miles together for the trip anyway, and rent yourself a Porsche convertible to really enjoy cote azur..

Beauty is no longer a word to describe a 7series from previous Chris Bangled model. Though interior can still be described as such.
