Ford’s long tease of the 2010 Mustang continues as the company has released two more additional teasers ahead of the car’s unveiling at the LA Auto Show.

In the latest round of photos we can see another glimpse of the interior thanks to a detail shot of the front seats and center console. The second photo shows the new pony car’s front headlight and fender panel, along with the redesigned side mirror. Not terribly exciting, but as a bonus we cropped together a couple of Ford’s previous photos to give you a good idea of the new Mustang’s side profile.

Now that the new Mustang will go up against the Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Camaro, expect Ford to continue to build as much hype as they can ahead of the car’s November debut.

I don't have a problem with teasers, as long as it's a new car, like the citreon Gt or the 4 door Lamborghini. But as for the "New Mustamge". it's just plain stupidity on Ford front. This isn't even a new car, it's a face lift, not more. If you can even call it that.

Seriously! Do they think moody lighting and the teaser approach makes this boring facelift more interesting?

Hmm, from the cribbed profile it is beginning to seem like, whereas the current Mustang pays homage to the 1969 model, this one is aping the 1972 version.

Friendly note to WCF: Can you please stop using terms like "front headlight," "rear taillight," etc? Headlights go on the front, taillights on the rear. The redundant descriptors just make you sound like non-car people, which we all know isn't the case. Thanks. :)

competition... the mustang came first in the "old school" styling, retro look. then came the charger... which failed miserbly in styling... and THEN it got interesting with the challenger and the new camaro comming out. SO... they have to update the look to stay at least a LITTLE bit competitive with the retro market.

that speedo and rev counter have different diameters!!! How bad is that?

How do you know it's the rev counter? Maybe Ford went truly retro 1960s American and it's just a giant pod where an optional clock would go, so it has 12 markings on it but no hands or numbers, lol!

mmr66, there is no change. Just the headlights and maybe some other things that will take at least 4 look-overs to notice. Overall, it is the same shite different loo!

I am quite upset with Ford for not taking more hints from the Giguiardo (sp?) concept. Perhaps another visit from Lee Iacoca may need to be in order...

Stupid Ford... These aren't teasers but laxatives. But then again, we can already see the facelift on the road today. Nothing's changed.

They should've killed the Mustang 20 something years ago. Next you'll see a Hybrid Mustang. Ford should start importing hit European models to the US market and save themselves before they go under.

well said... i say the same thing all the time. about the part about importing almost all their hit european makes over here and replcaing them with the current models, that arent doing so well (not all of them but you get the idea)...
