The European Union online database is proving to be a great source for new models prior to their official release. The latest victim discovered by Carscoop is the much anticipated Renault Megane Coupe. Renault recently revealed the Megane 5-door hatchback, but most of the excitement is reserved for the 3-door coupe model as it appeals to enthusiasts for its sleek and sporty profile. Compared to the 5-door hatch we can also see the front bumper fascia also gets a slightly different design, which portrays the look of snake fangs ready to strike, similar to the Megane Coupe Concept.

Despite all of same engine options from the 5-door to be available for the coupe, enthusiasts are hoping for sporty variants like the current Megane RS and the recently released Megane R26.R. The Megane III Coupe is expected to go on sale in early 2009.

there's something terribly wrong at the rear. the rear window is _tiny_ and so is the third door... and the rear doesn't even look too good.

I love these " everyone is a ******* designer" comments..... If this is boring then the GOLF issssss ? what exactly? I think this in the flesh could look very interesting indeed or a totally wrong. RS version is something to wait for....

Since the GTI has been unveiled, any other hot hatch revealed today seems meaningless.

not bad, for Renault. Looks sporty, hopefully the price is right.
