Third Teaser Surfaces for Mystery Lamborghini Four Door Concept
Won't be called Urus
This mystery Lamborghini model that is set to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show has been an interesting affair. It all started with the release of an initial teaser image showing the rear of the vehicle focusing on the huge twin exhausts, a second soon followed showing a small shot of the side profile of the model. Now a third teaser shot has been unearthed by a Lamborghini enthusiast forum showing a third shot of the model, this time it is of the rear tailight. You will notice the diagonal line going through the lights, this is where the boot lid joins to the rear body, a fact that confirms the engine must be housed at the front of the vehicle.
WCF insiders have already had the opportunity to see full press images of the concept, we can definitely confirm it is a four door coupe to compete with models such as the Aston Martin Rapide. However, our earlier reports that it will be called “Urus” have proven to be false, we are unable to tell you the full name yet, but we can assure you, there isn't long to wait before Lamborghini launch the first full press images.

Glad they arent using the urus tag it sounds very close to aurus which was that very sexy Audi concept car of the early nineties. im looking forward to seeing the full pics though.
No but the taillight looks like a cross between that of an Alfa 159 and an Audi A5. It's definitely front engined and definitely has a 3-box structure judging by the bootline.
Now think of Ferrari's front-engined 3-boxes - the 599 GTB Fiorano, the 612 Scaglietti and now the California. Which of those sells the most - that's what this will compete with. I'm guessing it's the 612, but I reckon the Cali will be more popular once on sale. Lamborghini folding hardtop anyone? Four doors is too crazy, even for Lambo.
Aren't these lamps just a spin on the Reventon and now Murcielago taillamps, by the way?
Can't wait to see the rest of the car...modern Espada, anyone? Lambo is about the only product of the VW Group whose styling does not betray its parentage. (Even the Bentley looks like a giant modern interpretation of the Karmann Ghia, with its rear fender bulge and googly-eyed New Beetle headlamps.)
They're not "day headlamps" in other words. Headlamps primarily illuminate the road ahead and help the driver see, not much use in daylight in that respect. They are running lamps, whose function is to help the car be seen by other drivers.
The LEDs work well in that respect, especially given their low energy consumption and long life. But still, just a nice styling feature on the same function. Like BMW's angel eyes. Like 'em, but hardly enough to hang Audi's overall technological hat on.
Lexus LS600h had LED headlamps (not DRLs) first in production.
I just hope this will not be a dissapointment.
This has the potential to be good. The front is well sloped and the italian flag detail on the side makes me smile...can't wait, expect to see some crazy hard angles on this car
