Officially the Ferrari California will make its world debut at the Paris Motor Show next month, but that doesn't mean a select audience couldn't get a glimpse of the model in advanced. Last night the Italian sportscar maker unveiled the model simultaneously in two locations: Maranello and Los Angeles, each venue holding 1000 specially invited guests.
Current Ferrari F1 drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa were on hand to help with the launch along with former F1 star Michael Schumacher who had a heavy hand in the development of the model.
The California slots in at the bottom of the Ferrari portfolio just below the Scaglietti 612, it is powered by new 460 hp 4.3-Liter V8 Engine placed in the mid-front position of the car and features direct fuel injection and a “flat” crankshaft. Iut is mated to a brand new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission system which enables the California to launch from 0-60mph in less than 4 seconds.
Head on over to the the Ferrari California website to see a video of the unveiling for yourself.

I think the word WCF is looking for is "advance", not "advanced".
1. Boxster- Huge Sales success 2. Cayenna porsche SUV- Huge Sales success 3. Ferrari california- actually looks good has a basic 599 shape but overall very livable easy to drive expensive summer car. IT WONT ruin its image and ferrari will gain a huge amount of cash 4. As long as the model is a success and continues to sell, i dont see how it can bring a name down
Bottom line its about time Ferrari did this and it will be a huge success! Lamborgini is now behind- they have to play catch up.
Also this gives ferrari more cash to ADVANCE!
Also the looks great! easy no i-drive simple but functional. Excellent job ferrari!
