I'd love to own this car. I love Mercedes and my Civic Hybrid so it's like a dream come true for me. The only problem is the cost. Most people who buy Hybrids aren't in the same pay grade as those who buy Mercs... With more manufacturers improving hybrid technology, hopefully it will become cheaper and pave the way for decent full-electric cars.

No, the diesel hybrid is next and will develope 44mpg in the full size S class MB. That will be unbelievable!

No more or less than a non-hybrid car. The real question is "how will hybrids age". No one knows for sure, wait until these Prius's and RX400s come off warranty. Then we'll see the true "price" of owning a hybrid!
