Have to agree with you Babymilo its not as good as the previous Opel Corsa based Barina. But they are mainly bought by young girls who know nothing about cars & care nothing about quality.

its just a chevy aveo, with a pontiac badge...and who cares these cars are only good for 34mpg...useless.

The lower grille makes the car looks like it's smiling, but it has no reason to grin. It only seems to prove that GM still has some irrelevant brands.
I can see why Pontiac dealers need a small car. I just don't know why small car shoppers need a Pontiac.

Well , why not , it's somethin' new, somethin' that u don't see all over a city.

Then why not Buick and Cadillac versions too? It's clearly just something the Pontiac dealers asked for (well, they wanted a small car fast, I assume). The G5 gets virtually the same MPG for '09, and doesn't dilute the brand quite so hideously. (I said quite, lol...)

At first, I thought this was a brilliant idea, but hearing about the quality, it seems like more of the same from them. Shame.

at least GM should have given pontiac the 3 door version, that sounds more sporty!!

I think that face belongs on a bigger car. It just doesn't look right...
I drove the Daewoo version of it a few months ago and in city traffic it really isn't that bad...it was better than walking!
I think it's a nice first car for someone young and doesn't have to drive very long distances.

Don't any one buy this car if you beleive and follow what world car fans is all about. Hows a two star ncap safety rating sound - a wet cardboard box would provide more crash protection than this thing. It was origionally the Daewoo Kalos before they went broke so fundamentally the car is wrong on so many levels. And yes why GM didn't continue the Corsa is a mystery because that was a competent ,competitive small car. Don't get me started on the styling either....

We Have this Car in jordan but under the chevy brand and with the name Aveio , i dont know how GM give the same car more than 5 or 6 names and each name will have the same body but with small change from out , doesnt this coast them alot , becouse each one with have a production line .... mmm maybe im wrong but i think this is the reason of why GM lose money all the past years , alot of names with the same cars .

No my friend. GM and other automakers can create serveral styles under the same assembly line.

Pontiac...We Build Driving Excitement!
What rubbish. Pontiac needs to find a raison d'tre and until they do, they'll continue to flounder. And, its not like its hard to figure out what to do. Pontiac should be GM's "Porsche" division....not in price, but is sportiness and excitement. Sort of like a BMW that's affordable.

In Australia the ad states 'it will put a smile on your face'. I have a chuckle at this cause the car certainly does make me laugh. Poor Holden they have lost their way. The Toyota Yaris and Mazda 2 way out-sell this and even the Hyundai Getz sells better. I have unfortunately been a passenger in one and it was impacted in the side and the front air bags went off. They are only meant to go off if hit in the rear or front. Even the smash repairer said it. Holden-woo are so crap now.
