The latest teaser image released from the 2010 Mustang countdown micro site shows, with tunnel vision effect, a narrow side view of the dash panel and steering wheel. More specifically, we can see the instrument cluster with what appears to be polished aluminum trim, a partial view of the lower center console in front of the shifter and the door trim panel.

rubish interior like the last one... cheap and nasty materials... LOL

I look forward that the Camaro is trimmed with high quality materials. =)

Now this is mighty impressive. Ford assures us of a facelift for the car, yet they still cannot comprehend why the Camaro is going to outsell the Mustang, by a massive amount; better quality materials. The old farts and tarts at Ford need to quit, leave, and die in a ditch and let the younger more creative crowds come in, that listen to the public, and do the change up. This could be a good thing or bad thing. However, it may not be as bad as this.

Why they still choose to use worthless and cheap material to save extra money, I will never know. It is more expensive to sell a car with cheap quality materials that are brittle and wither faster, than a car with an interior with higher quality. Personally, I'd much rather pay the extra pound to get the car with the better interior quality than this pathetic attempt at making competition for the Camaro. Second, I am shocked that Ford doesn't think about how insulting they are being to their customers by price-gouging their consumers with these over-priced piles of crap, with such cheap materials for the interior.

I really hope I am wrong about this car and that the face-lift is more than just a hump at the c-pillar, before the quarter panel. The lights I am not crazy about at all. The rear end looks more of the same. The side profile also looks more of the same, save for the little hump. If Ford used more from the Giugardo concept of the Mustang, the car would be competition for the Camaro. But knowing the old dying farts at Ford not listening to the public, I am willing to bet this car is going to be more of the same.

Here is what gets me..sure the center stack looks better and so does the cluster but not much better. You know know what my i went to first that shows they didn't update any of the materials in this thing....

The cheap ford door handles, locks, and vents...man Ford needs to wake up and see that people want there American made cars to show some pride. I think GM started to get it now i wish the other icon would

Hmmmm, I don't understand what everyone is complaining about. From pictures only, its obvious the new interior is leaps & bounds ahead of the last. Materials are low-sheen, detail changes are clean and precise (cant tell if they're soft touch plastics, but they appear to be) and panel gaps are consistently small on the IP. To my knowledge, the interior uses many of the same suppliers as the XF, MKS and Flex (which are some of the same suppliers responsible for the last G35). While none of those interiors could be labeled "groundbreaking", neither could they be called "cheap" or "low quality". What do you expect, an Audi? This interior may not be superior to the Camaro, but at least its in the same ballpark now.

Did you've noticed-that dashboard have silmilarities with VW Passat and BMW Z4 architecture or design approach. Not bad that way at all.
