Adventurous-looking and robust multi-purpose vehicles are greatly accepted by the European market. Cars like the Volkswagen Caddy Life, Citroen Berlingo and Renault Kangoo are amongst the best-sellers of this segment. Another one in this league comes from Italy, and it’s about to be replaced by a new model.
Here we have the first shots of the new Fiat Doblo, scheduled for a launch some time in 2010. Like its predecessor the car will be aimed at young families in the passenger-car variant segment with a conventional top-hinged rear door but will be available as a commercial version featuring a split back doors as well.
While the general layout will remain unchanged, the whole design will be more modern. Judging from the pictures we dare saying that the Doblo’s two main characteristics will remain: the huge and upright front grille and the sliding doors on both sides of the car.
