I hope they award the 10K Euros to a person that can design a car that can actually make it to production in the next 5 to 10 years, as opposed to these science fiction fantasy cars that look better hovering than on the ground.

Agreed. Not only that but I would rather stick with my sister's Polo than one of these when it gets made as a full sized concept. I don't know why, but to me these designs all just look blank faced and like it speaks in a monotone. They look like the most boring drives I have ever seen. And like wtf- how are you supposed to have responsive steering when the wheel is hanging from the ceiling?

Common guys, this is a design competition, not a next-model production project. Pretty neat future concepts. It shows the FREE designers mind these days which we will probably see examples of in the streets in some 30-40 years. Keep on freestyling! ;)

Glad to see some like-minded people... you know what the sad thing is? Chances are that the cars that probably would have sold in the real world didn't make it through to the finals. The designer should not be the only one to blame, the person that signs off the design is just as guilty.
