Peugeot Presents the Prologue Concept

 Peugeot Presents the Prologue Concept
Peugeot Prologue Concept

Previews 3008

Having already released details of a first concept coming to Paris next month in the form of the Hybrid GT, Peugeot have now released initial info and images of the second concept set to grace the stage. The Prologue Concept is a preview of the new 3008 MPV which we have spotted on a number of occasions out on the street whilst under development, the most recent of which was a spy video we published just last week.

The hybrid engine follows in the vein of the brands other concept, it generates 200bhp whilst simultaneously offering impressive CO2 emission figure of 109g/km. Peugeot also state that the Prologue concept displays an innovative combination of ideas at different levels with the aforementioned hybrid engine along with its high-tech equipment, its style, interior and architecture.

We shall see next month in Paris if Peugeot stay true to their word.

did peugeot not learn ANYTHING from the days of letting Pininfarina design their cars? the grille is a joke. the plastic below the headlights is ghastly looking, not forgetting the tired and overused shape of the standard peugeot headlight. yawn. as for the crazy looking wheel arch that has a wiered shape too. utter trash.

i'm glad they've left the wide open mouth style front design, at last! However if this is supposed to be an SUV, well, it doesn't look like one. Rather like some minivan.

This might be the new niche, a SUM Sports Utility Minivan. Anyhow, I do still insist that the headlights are getting bigger and bigger with each new model the french manufacturers release. These ones almost touch the windshield.

What a hideous car! That is easily the ugliest auto since the last Ssang-Yong... I hope the 3008 doesn't look anything like it

The rearend looks much better then the 308 SW.. the sideline has even interesting accents. I like it and hope for production (often made for Prologue-cars by Peugeot)

The current front-end theme had to stop anytime. This car's face doesn't convince me, since it has traits of "artificial" sports cars (R8, GT-R) rather than Peugeot-ish feline cues. afterace2, I guess the 3008 was designed to look both as a minivan and as a soft-roader. And I like that. CH, we got already too many TLAs, thanks.

Dear Peugeot Take note that 9 out of 10 commentors show total disregard for the design intent of this here vehicle. This being said, we can all conclude that, although the car will sell, you are missing out on the opportunity to attract the greater majority of the world's populace by contemplating the release of this vehicle. Burn this concept, do yourselves the favour. Regards, Decypha.
